Jihyun and Steve’s wedding was such a sweet and memorable one. It was filled with stories of their love from when they first met to how they came on their journey to the alter. In order to understand just how significant these two are, let us start by sharing how Steve proposed.
Steve has been planning the proposal for 4 years (!!!) because he really wanted it to be special for Jihyun. He knew for a long time that she was the one he wanted to marry. He got a lot of her friends and co-workers involved in the process. For a week he had people unknowingly record her with raw footage. He then created a video with all the recordings of her throughout that week. The proposal took place at the Coffee House and the video he had made was playing on a large screen for Jihyun to see when she walked in. He got her on the stage, got down on one knee, and proposed in front of an audience that she later realized was all her friends. There was even a photo booth setup with props that said “bride to be” and “she said yes”! Serious kudos to this man!
And now fast forward to their wedding day. The two were excitedly getting ready in hotel rooms right beside each other. Everything was going so perfectly. They exchanged cards with a message to each other for their wedding day. Steve’s of course brought Jihyun to tears but also with bouts of laughter. The weather was amazing, neither hot nor cold. The ceremony was very personal with stories of their love told to their guests as well as their testimony. The bride and groom laughed nearly throughout the entire sermon as they reminisced with memories from the time they first met. There was a post reception with close friends at the Carroll Baldwin Hall. This reception had the word “fun” written all over it. It was planned so beautifully. There was a donut and popcorn station, a photo booth, a photo backdrop, a bar, and a food station. Guests were having a best time mingling and dancing. Congratulations again Jihyun and Steve! Thank you for sharing your stories, your love, and allowing us to be a part of this amazing day.
