We almost didn't make it to Sunhee and Jack's wedding. What started as a drizzle eventually turned into a heavy downpour. It was one of those rainfalls that didn't seem like it was going away anytime soon. We geared up and was on our way to meet with Sunhee and Jack for their preparation and then the unthinkable happened. We got into a major car accident on the highway with our car taking two hits, spinning across three lanes, and finally hitting the guardrail. The airbags deployed, our bodies trembled, and all we could think of at the time was why us and why today of all days. Not that
Christine and Andrew are the kind of couple that are pleasantly surprising. Just by first glance you would think that they are the romantic type and would probably spend hours just gazing deeply into one another. But in actuality they are totally the opposite. They are very playful, funny, joke with each other, and just have a humor that are perfectly in sync. One thing that's for sure is that this couple enjoys having fun together and we absolutely loved their dynamic chemistry! He even
Youngeun and Minyoung's wedding took place at one of the most beautiful buildings in Washington, DC; the Daughter's of the American Revolution (DAR) building. Engraved marble columns everywhere with a clean and classy look in the design of the architecture... we were in love! The venue suited the couple so well. Youngeun kept her wedding day look very classic with strands of pearls intertwined around her neck and Minyoung chose a navy suit to compliment the wedding colors of ivory and marigold.
Seonjoo and Paul's wedding took place during the summer on an extremely hot day. Despite the heat, everyone was in such a good mood due to the upcoming celebration. Seonjoo and her bridesmaids were having the best time getting ready and there was so much laughter in the air. The groomsmen were having a blast as well as they suited up for the big event. The first look was one of the sweetest as Paul was floored upon seeing Seonjoo in her gorgeous gown for the first time. Seonjoo smiled back
Hi friends! Welcome to another post of our Manic Musings series. Click here for the first post if you missed it! This past week has been a bit insane. Our daughter Laelle's first birthday is coming up within a week and just trying to prepare while watching her as well AND having to still work has us pretty tied up. For those of you who are not very familiar with the korean culture, a first birthday is literally like a miniature wedding. It's a pretty big deal. So this week the majority of our
Jamie and Hong are the sweetest of couples. They literally can't stop smiling when they look at each other. The day was a hot one and we met at St. Michaels for the engagement session. We decided we needed some refreshments and stopped by a small restaurant nearby to cool off. Apparently the restaurant only sold drinks that had alcohol so we ended up getting some sangrias. Not sure if it were the sangrias or their chemistry, but it really seemed to help in getting Jamie and Hong to have fun
