I was so excited to photograph the engagement session for my brother and his fiancé Hana. It was a bit challenging because of a time restraint, I was unable to scout the locations prior to the session as I usually do. We picked out locations that we thought may work and from there on we went with the flow. The session turned out pretty well even though it was not completely planned out. I think it had a lot to do with the fact that Hana and Wookjin were just amazing with each other. The first portion of the session was taken in a neighborhood in Korea called Samcheong-dong. The second portion was taken at Seonyudo Park.

Jane and Woo have been together for almost ten years but you would think that they met just a year ago. Their chemistry is absolutely amazing and they have so much fun just being together and laughing. Watching them joke around with each other made the five hours of shooting so enjoyable and fly by quickly. It was literally filled with laughter from beginning to end. The engagement session took places in three different locations of Baltimore. Fells Point, Penn Station, and lastly Mount Royal Station. Really looking forward to their wedding!

Baltimore Engagement Session
The engagement session began early in the morning at Federal Hill Park. What I love about Federal Hill is that you have so much variety of scenarios in one location. There’s the park, the cityscape, the water, and of course the trees and the lush grass. Add a great couple to that equation and what more do you need. It was such a pleasure to work with Ann and David. The day went smoothly and they were such naturals in front of the camera. We went to Fells Point for the second part of the session where it was more of a casual setting with rustic backgrounds. Looking forward to their wedding in September!

I had such a great time shooting Tiffany and Tibby’s engagement session. The two had great style, wonderful props for the photos, and had such great chemistry. We began the shoot at the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden and changed scenery to the Meadowlark Botanical Garden for a more casual look. Can’t wait until their wedding in June!
