I was really excited when I was asked again this year to document the event for the Council of Korean Americans (CKA) at the White House. Last year was the first time ever for a Korean American briefing to take place there. See photos from last year’s event here. This year’s event was held at the same location in the South Court Auditorium and afterwards there was a reception in the Treaty Room at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building. The best part of the day was seeing the presidential cupcakes.

Baltimore Engagement Session
The engagement session began early in the morning at Federal Hill Park. What I love about Federal Hill is that you have so much variety of scenarios in one location. There’s the park, the cityscape, the water, and of course the trees and the lush grass. Add a great couple to that equation and what more do you need. It was such a pleasure to work with Ann and David. The day went smoothly and they were such naturals in front of the camera. We went to Fells Point for the second part of the session where it was more of a casual setting with rustic backgrounds. Looking forward to their wedding in September!

Tiffany and Tibby’s wedding was held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel & Resorts in Mclean Virginia. After their preparation, we were able to sneak off to Glen Echo Park to snap some bride and groom portraits before the ceremony. The wedding was filled with LOTS of laughter, and of course tears, as the two joined together as husband and wife. I had such a great time documenting their wedding day. Congratulations Tiffany and Tibby!
