Esther and Victor are a couple that have this chemistry where you can tell they are definitely meant to be together. It could be from them having been together a long time, but their interaction was very refreshing to see. You see a love that has grown to a level of comfort that brings upon a deep friendship as well.
Esther and her family own a store at a place called Sherwood Forest. And yes it’s in reference to Robin Hood as the names of the streets are based from characters of that story! This place is as enchanting as the name it was given. It is a secluded and private neighborhood, so secluded that it has it’s own zip code and post office. The neighborhood even have their own beach and pier, where we decided to have the engagement session. We began the session early in the morning and drove around the neighborhood in golf carts while stopping occasionally to take photos. We were able to watch the sunrise on the pier and enjoy it by the water. It was cold when we first began but the sun later warmed up our bodies and we were able to enjoy the rest of the morning basking under the sunlight. Esther and Victor’s wedding will be held in Sherwood Forest as well and we are delighted to be a part of their day!
 

Taffy and Hoon’s wedding took place right by the water at the beautiful Harbour View. The weather was the perfect brisk fall temperature. Though the area was amazing, we wanted a slightly different location for the first look. With the help of Taffy’s bridesmaid, we were able to find a quirky little neighborhood nearby for the first look and also the portraits. The ceremony was beautiful with decorations of pink and gold and the reception was a blast. The groom however had to endure a painful tradition when one gets married. It was great to see everyone having such a good time and I’m so thankful to have been a part of this day. Congratulations Taffy and Hoon!

It was a foggy morning for this engagement session in Baltimore City. We started early in the day to avoid the crowd so the session went pretty smoothly without having to wait for people to pass by. June and Max has amazing chemistry even during the early time of day. They are so comfortable with one another and it was delightful to see how loving they were to each other. We started the shoot at Fells Point and stopped by the church on Mt. Vernon, and ended the session at Federal Hill. I had such a great time with this loving couple. Looking forward to their wedding!
 

Sunny and Jonathan wanted to have their engagement session at Maryland’s treasured Assateague Island. This location is very close to Ocean City but has wild horses that roam the land. We decided to have a portion of the session at St. Michaels first since we were passing by the area. St. Michaels has a quirky historic town that we were able to do some fun, casual, and playful poses at. We used lollipops and ice cream cones as props to add a punch of color to the shoot. It was great to see how Sunny and Jonathan enjoyed being with one another. They were smiling and laughing throughout the entire shoot which made it enjoyable for me as well.
When we arrived at Assateague Island, I was amazed how there were horses everywhere nonchalantly just hanging out. It was pretty obvious that they are used to tourists and felt safe around people as they allowed us to get close to get some photos with them. We went to the beach area of the location and while it was quite beautiful, the wind was so fierce that day that it was hard to do anything near the water. It was a great experience visiting Assateague Island and really appreciating the nature. Thank you Sunny and Jonathan. Looking forward to your wedding in a few weeks!
