Happy New Year Friends! We thought we would start our very first post of the new year of a new DECADE (hello 2020!) with some introductions. We don’t believe we’ve ever done an introduction post so there couldn’t have been a better time to do so.
For those who don’t know us, we hope one day we will be able to meet in person to chat! But until then here are some facts to get to know us a little better.
– We are Taeck and Julie and we are a husband and wife wedding & portrait photography business based in Maryland. We have been shooting weddings for 8 years now and have photographed over 150 weddings. We’ve won awards, been published on blogs, and have met some of the greatest people and made amazing friends while working in this career path.
– If you asked us if we had any idea where we would be today, our answer would be… heck no! Life takes you to places that you would have never imagined if you simply follow and let it carry you to the unknown.
– We’ve dated for 5 years and have been married for almost 10 years! And the past 3 years we’ve spent it together 24/7 and still enjoy each other’s company.
– We have 2 kids and 2 dogs so needless to say, our days are never dull… nor quiet.
– We spend most of our days working together on our kitchen table, parenting full time, cooking up some mean meals then doing a lifetime worth of dishes. And of course scraping play dough off the floor and picking up blocks and cars. every. single. day. #reallife
– Although we’re photographers, we ironically found ourselves rarely in front of the camera. We seriously barely have any photos of ourselves in the past eight years or so. But that mentality completely changed when we had children and we decided it was important to take yearly photos to capture memories.
– Taeck loves to create something in the kitchen, Julie loves to create something out of paper, and together we create a lot of beautiful messes.
– We absolutely love what we do, and this past year we have never felt more grateful. We hope to continue to serve our clients with love and to capture moments that will truly be dear to them.❤️
