Being able to photograph Lisa and Alex was such a delight! We’ve known Lisa from a while ago and was thrilled to hear that she was getting married. It’s always great to see the people you know find love and happiness. Since we knew it was going to be a hot day, we decided to have the engagement session indoors as much as possible. We started at the National Gallery of Art as well as the Hirshhorn Museum and used the art and surroundings as the backdrop for the photos. Alex was so amazed by the lighted walkway at the National Gallery that he talked about creating something for his basement with a similar lighting effect. Eventually we braved the outdoors and had to endure some of the humidity. Lisa and Alex were champs with putting up with the summer heat. Lisa and Alex, it was great spending the day with you two. Looking forward to your wedding this fall!
