Ashley and Yoonsoo’s wedding was one that we will definitely remember. The day began with Ashley happily getting ready with her bridesmaids and friends. She was getting her hair and makeup done by a close friend and we soon found out that many of the beautiful wedding details were done by friends or the bride herself! The sun was shining, the venue was gorgeous and the ceremony was set up beautifully for an outdoor wedding. The weather was perfect… for a while… however the rain made it’s entrance right before the ceremony. The ceremony decor was quickly moved into the reception tent and the guests ran in, took their seats, and dried off. The wedding party lined up with umbrellas in hand and Ashley walked in with her father holding a white umbrella of course! But the rain and umbrellas ended up having a charming effect and was definitely different then what you would have expected. It definitely made it a wedding that no one would forget, especially to the bride and groom. Ashley didn’t seem to mind so much about the weather and gushed about how it had a unique feel. We were glad to see that she didn’t let the rain literally come down on her parade.

The ceremony was great with guests enjoying their food and beverages and having a great time with the games and raffles that took place during the reception. The flowers were done by the bride herself and the wedding cake was done by a friend of the bride. This was a four tier cake with each tier being a different flavor. She also made the favors which was a cookie with an edible print of a photo of the bride and groom. Talk about some talented friends! Everyone had a great time and we closed the night with a romantic portrait session in the rain. Congratulations again Ashley and Yoonsoo! It was great being a part of your special unforgettable day!
