When we first met with Sam and Danny, they practically had us rolling on the floor laughing in the middle of the coffee shop. Danny has such a playful sense of humor and it was amazing to see how he can make his fiance laugh whole-heartedly. We realized that day that this twosome is truly remarkable in the way that they are with each other.

The engagement session took place at Old Town Alexandria. A place that we frequented and were quite familiar with. We were unfortunately taken by surprise when we realized that they have been constructing and how Old Town was now a new town. Nothing looked the same as before and in our opinion, it wasn’t an improvement… especially for photographs. We decided to migrate to Meadowlark Botanical Garden and complete the session there. Sam and Danny were amazing during the shoot and seemed like they were going on a date which is exactly what we wanted. The remaining time went flawlessly with just minor hiccups like when a goose chased us away from a location that we were trying to shoot at. The day was full of laughs and enjoyment. We are looking forward to their wedding this fall.
